FOUNDER - BRIAN HAVLOVICK

Brian Havlovick founded Dynamic Solutions in 1996; the goal was to establish an extremely efficient product development company. It was his experience in the corporate world which proved to him that older established organizations required to much convincing to effectively implement new technologies to be competitive. His concept for Dynamic Solutions is to be competitive in product development at any level in any market.

Mr. Havlovick provides specialized knowledge in medical device engineering, software development and manufacturing. He is a natural leader skilled in organizing work teams and directing the product development cycle. His 11 years as a consulting engineer were preceded by nine years of engineering experience in systems integration with both defense and consumer product companies. His experience has allowed him to creatively and effectively manage projects, from concept to production.

EXPERIENCE

Program Manager/Technical Director/Engineering Manager/Manufacturing Engineer

Technical and Management Service Corporation (TAMSCO) - Polson, MT - 1992 to 1998

Hired initially as manufacturing engineer and promoted after just 3 months to establish development engineering capability for the division. Built department to a team of 20 electrical, mechanical, industrial, RF, and chemical engineers and enabled TAMSCO to compete for more complex technical projects. Developed and implemented an Electronic Document Release and Control System to maintain electronic CAD engineering documentation. Performed budgeting, bidding, and estimating. Directed all test engineering, manufacturing engineering, acceptance testing, and drafting.

Assigned as lead hardware engineer on the $5 million AirEye project for the U.S. Coast Guard. Promoted again, to technical director, to restore project progress and customer confidence following resignation of original program manager. Coordinated systems engineering, hardware/software design, and installation efforts with worldwide teams, producing a customer-accepted preliminary design review and saving the project from cancellation by customer. Advanced once again to program manager, meeting all hardware development, production, and installation goals on time and within budget. Directed manufacturing, installation, test, and depot maintenance repair.

Product Engineer

M&S Systems, Inc. - Dallas, TX - 1989 to 1992

Developed and managed home intercom audio equipment products, quickly earning progressive responsibilities and assignments based on demonstrated superb work ethic. Planned and orchestrated design team efforts. Coordinated projects with inter-disciplinary engineering groups. Provided technical support to marketing staff in sales presentations. Designed an acoustic isolation bracket assembly featured in Design News magazine. Given full charge authority for development of company's first home theater product; worked directly with the technology inventor to integrate and test core technology and to develop production product.

Design Engineer

Texas Instruments, Inc. - McKinney, TX - 1986 to 1989

Joined the systems integration and test group for the LANTIRN radar. Performed system testing and evaluation, system integration, and performance analysis duties. Selected as member of the full-scale engineering development team charged with introduction and support of the first systems through production. Played a key role in developing tests for the complete system and its 6 highly complex subsystems. Served as team expert on the receiver exciter subsystem. Rated by superiors as #1 entry-level engineer after first year of employment.
